Next to our vending machines we also invited Upländer
Bauernmolkerei - the dairy cooperative of organic farmers
- to showcase and sell butter milk. Visitors left money in an
honesty box and in exchange took buttermilk from the
fridge. It was very popular. The cooperative also provided
flyers with ideas for recipes. They were a free gift to all
visitors that could read German and like to cook with dairy.
The product was sold during documenta fifteen, at Lumbung Kios
located in Hübner-Areal venue. We exhibited and sold rural objects,
creations and artworks that tell local stories from areas around
Kassel about our local partners. And goods from our visiting Rural
School of Economics network, that came to documenta with trade in
their suitcase.
