The shop consists of many different shops across rural and urban settings. The individual shop can be permanent or temporary. Forms of trade and currencies are set by each shopkeeper.

The group exhibition 'Trade Show' is travelling from Eastside Projects in Birmingham to R-Urban in Colombes, demonstrating and testing some artist run trading projects. The International Village Show wiill be part of this, featuing mainly shop classics and the up-to date range of Village Goods Films.
