story geschichte verhaal historia
PAV urban honey is produced by bees living in beehives located on Le folie du Pav, an art installation created by Emmanuelle Luisgrand. Those beehives are part of a bigger project lead by Urbees, an urban beekeeping association covering the entire Turin area.
This mixed flower honey is the result of the collection from a wide range of flowers such as ailanthus, apple, cherry, acacia and nectar from wildflowers like clover, dandelion, rosemary, broom, thyme, wisteria and bignonia. An interesting and unique aspect of this honey is the presence of dart of Cupid (Catananche caerulea) nectar, a kind of native specie under absolute protection. The park of PAV, thanks to its biodiversity, is a suitable place for Apis mellifera and for a production of high quality honey.
